Cinematographer, Filmmaker & Nature GuideÂ
Nush Freedman is an underwater cinematographer, wildlife filmmaker and conservation advocate, as well as an all-round force of positive energy. Based on the Nyinggulu Reef, she has spent much of her life in, on and around the ocean, documenting some of the most remote and wild environments on Earth. A highly accomplished camerawoman and photographer, Nush has worked across an extensive catalogue of high-profile Australian and international documentary productions for the BBC, Netflix, National Geographic and Disney+. She has contributed to world-class natural history storytelling on series including Blue Planet III, Our Planet II and Shipwreck Hunters Australia.
Her work has taken her around the globe, filming in environments ranging from the polar regions and open oceans to mountains, forests, bushland and jungle. Beyond cinematography, Nush brings a diverse and practical skill set to every project. She has worked as a guide, skipper, safety diver, photographer and director, developing deep experience in both ocean and remote outdoor environments. At the core of her work is a commitment to connecting people with wild places and helping ensure they are protected for generations to come.Â



Photographer & Expedition Leader
Brooke Pyke is a photojournalist, expedition leader and conservation storyteller based on Western Australia’s Ningaloo Reef. With a background as a PADI dive instructor and years spent working in remote marine environments, she has built a career documenting some of the most biodiverse and visually striking ecosystems on the planet, both above and below the surface. Often visiting places sch as Galapgos, Raja Ampat, Mexico and Africa. Specialising in underwater, wildlife, aerial and editorial photography and videography. Her imagery has been internationally awarded and published in various outlets including National Geographic, Australian Geographic, Oceanographic Magazine and Alert Diver Magazine. Her work has regularly contributed to conservation initiatives, scientific research and species identification catalogues for manta rays and whale sharks. She also worked with various brands, tourism boards and travel companies creating tailored visual assets.
Beyond photography, Brooke leads small-group, nature-based expeditions in remote locations. She guides participants in ethical wildlife encounters while teaching photography in realworld field conditions. Drawing on her experience as a dive professional, researcher and creative, she brings a practical, safety-focused and deeply informed approach to working in dynamic ocean and wilderness environments. At the heart of Brooke’s work is a desire to foster a sense of connection. She uses photography, writing and shared experience to inspire appreciation for the natural world.
